Cowboy Show

"McClure's second album shows just how hot this cow jazz performer really is."
[Country Music Roundup]

Cowboy Show

The George McClure Cowboy Show - George McClure learned Western and swing in Arizona and New Mexico bars and clubs while playing banjo and bass for a living. He absorbed the native and border sounds around him, from Mariachi and norteno to Marty Robbins. "We couldn't get off the stage without playing a few Bob Wills and Texas swing numbers" George says. "The complex chords and structures thrilled me."

McClure's name is called Best New Male Vocalist Golden Music Awards at Nashville NAMM
George is nominated Vocalist of the Year Academy of Western Artists

George started playing professionally in Arizona after graduating University of Arizona. Trained in classical, he quickly absorbed a foundation in bluegrass, swing jazz, and border music. His native influences range from Apache "chicken scratch" band to mariachi and ranchero. Now he plays and sings favorites and acclaimed originals, in a popular national show in your own performance hall or arena.

A prolific writer, McClure has transcribed Mozart, Vivaldi, and Bach for acoustic ensembles and is author of two books, a musical, and hundreds of musical works. George was featured in the Nashville Tennessean with his "Ballad of OJ Simpson". His Playboy Swing and Champagne Saturday CDs are on Dish Cable TV, iTunes, and are available in all standard outlets. DVDs are free online and on youtube.
