McClure penned the song after watching a one-hour pseudo-documentary on alien abductions which stated "one out of four americans states they have been abducted or molested by space aliens." It was written on banjo originally, and recorded for the Champagne Saturday album. McClure owns the trademark for ALIEN LOVE tshirts and sleepwear - underwear.
